Matthew Mercado
Matthew Mercado is the first artist signed. We heard him play a songwriter showcase and was really impressed. We immediately decided that he would be the first artist signed to the label and took him to Route One Acuff Studios. Alan Crossland is an incredible engineer and producer. Matthew is an incredibly talented singer and musician. The CD was released October 28, 2022 and has been well received. On May 17, 2023, Matthew signed a two album recording contract as the first artist signed to Prima Vista records. After working with Ramiro Perez and his team at Prima Vista, it was obvious that their values and the values of Liberty Port Productions were the same. We all have the same desires and goals so we decided that having Matthew sign to their brand new label was in Matthew's best interest. Prima Vista will be able to provide resources and relationships that it would have taken Liberty Port Productions a lot more time to develop. Liberty Port Productions will continue in the management and booking roles but his next two albums, hopefully more, will be on the Prima Vista label. We are very excited about working with Prima Vista and have other projects with them in the plans. We should get Matthew back in the studio soon and get to work on his next album. We are all looking forward to it and will update the site when we have more information to share.

Henry Williamson
Henry Williamson is a unique and talented songwriter. He is affectionately known as Big Daddy Dawg, or H Dawg, in the Lubbock music circles. He is originally from the San Francisco Bay area and lived in New Mexico for years before moving to Lubbock, Texas. His life experiences are the foundation of his songwriting and his songs appeal to audiences of all ages. They are reminiscent of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Johnny Paycheck all wrapped up in one awesome songwriter. His debut release drop January 26, 2023. We actually recorded 16 tracks but the CD is 10 songs and sounds great. We will include the other 6 in a future project. A huge shoutout to Ashleigh Stone at Prima Vista Event Center for doing an awesome job recording and mastering for us.
On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Henry signed a contract with Perezcope Music Publishing. He will now be writing songs for them to market worldwide. Hopefully, some big star will fall in love with Henry's songs the way we have and take them for the whole word to hear. Liberty Port Productions will still handle all management roles for Henry and we will be working closely with Perezcope Music Publishing to share Henry and his music with the world.
